I have been working as a creator and freelancer, providing model making and rigging services for domestic and international streamers and companies as Vtuber since 2020. I have uploaded more than 200,000 2D animations and videos on YouTubers. I also produce other video content. Despite the growing interest in domestic Vtuber and LiveToday in recent years, it can be challenging to find comprehensive information and tips on LiveToday. This class will aim to make the basic production and tips of the Live 2D Cubism program more accessible to everyone.

I began learning how to use Live Today through self-study and have created translations and explanations for information that was missing in Japanese or English. Instead of simply teaching the methods used in production with attributes, I will provide explanations for “Why do we need to make it this way?”. I will demonstrate methods that have a logical reasoning behind them.

The Live 2D program allows you to manipulate 2D illustrations to create more dynamic movements. It is a paid program but it is essential for creating Vtuber modeling. With the Korean version of Cubism version 4, production becomes more comfortable.

Step by step, in order!

I will guide you through the tools and production methods step by step, starting from the basics, even if you’re not familiar with the program’s icons or functions. This is a beginner-level course, so I will cover all the necessary functions and information for those new to the program.

A tablet is not necessary to take this class. While a tablet may be useful for editing or drawing the illustration model, this class focuses on rigging, so all that’s needed is a mouse to manipulate it.
