2D Character Design Magician

In this course, you’ll discover the process of creating a character design for an animation project from the very beginning. You’ll learn how to approach a client’s briefing and work your way through every step of the project. You’ll begin by gathering references and creating a mood board to inspire your work. Next, you’ll move on to creating rough sketches and researching cartoon styles. We’ll also review basic drawing and color theory by referencing famous characters from the animation world. Finally, we’ll apply what we’ve learned to develop unique characters with a contemporary and vibrant appearance. By the end of the course, you’ll see how your characters evolve from initial sketches to the final art.
