Feedback is extremely important in any game, to provide for the player, the information they need to be successful. Visual feedback through particle systems can provide that information. In this course, Unity 2D Fundamentals – Practical Particle Systems, you’ll learn to create interesting particle systems to provide that feedback as well as spice up the visuals of your game. First, you’ll discover the core concepts to make these advanced particle systems. Next, you’ll build the assets for the player death effects, obstacles, exploding fireworks, smoke trails, and fire! Finally, you’ll combine what you’ve learned to create a large scale explosion that effects nearby objects. When you’ve finished this course you will have the fundamental knowledge and skills concerning particle systems to create your own practical particle systems in Unity. Required software: Unity 2019.
