2D and 3D techniques Begin this journey by getting to know the brains behind Itsacat and Goodog.tv., illustrator Catarina Alves and motion designer Jonas Nunes. They share their main artistic influences and more detailed information about the final project.

Jonas explains the twelve principles of animation to bear in mind while composing your final piece. Catarina shows you the programs she uses to illustrate and helps you do some initial sketches using Procreate. Compose a storyboard in Photoshop along with a style frame to define your piece’s graphic style.

Now get ready to spread your wings! With Jonas as your copilot, set to work designing a 3D character. Bring your creation to life with textures and lighting in Cinema 4D and Photoshop. He teaches you how to build an animation from scratch using your storyboard, before moving on to the retouching and rendering.
